We have MOVED...

Over a thousand posts.... and 7 years...

I have to be honest that there is a little sadness in saying goodbye to this blog.... but then... I pop over to ANASTASIA PHOTOGRAPHY and I am so thrilled! The new site is so much of a better representation of my style, my brand and the photos I want to take. It was a true labor of love- I had a lot of help by talented amazing people... and I know you will love it! Enjoy!

best of 2012 weddings

When I think of the last year I am filled with so much gratitude... so many beautiful weddings and celebrations- and so many moments- captured. Tears and laughter.... commitments and LOVE!

Choosing some of my favorite moments was impossible and I am sure I missed some- I am thankful for how many there were- everything from a ziptrecking groom, to our dear dear friends wedding in Australia- to a last minute stunning and intimate wedding in Big Sur- my new most favorite place in the world.

All of this paired with great food- amazing wedding planners and beautiful florals and details. All of it. I love it all still... I know I am over 100 weddings now- and still not even a little bit over it- in fact... it feels like I am just getting started...

Happy New Year!

The New Year for us has been weddings and weddings... beautiful winter snowy weddings- people starting off the new year committing lives together... and it is beautiful. The light has been lovely, and the couples amazing. Yesterday we spent the afternoon at Nita Lake lodge witnessing and capturing this sweet authentic and kind couple as they said their "i do's" in Spanish. I feel so completely honored to be apart of these services... loveliness. The bride had the most amazing style that would not be comprimised as she stood in the middle of a frozen lake... so brave in her short dress and hunter boots. They also spent the morning decorating the space making it personlaized, unique and beautiful for the family... I love LOVE that. XO
