i spend so much time working out perfect weather and light- but this mamma to be did not have time to wait on such things... we went for a big walk in vancouver in the rain- got soaked...
and i could not be happier- these seem so real life- so perfectly imperfect.
and some dryer inside options:)
cannot wait to meet the babe!
beyond honored to be a part of this family's life... and capturing the moments that seem to pass by us so quickly in the everyday. i love love this image. just love it. becasue it is just an inbetween moment that otherwise would not have been captured without the camera there- its the simplicity of these photos that make me thrilled to give this gift. xo
just loved the light and the captures from this family...
from three to four, and I feel super honored that i got to be there when they became two
I LOVED this wedding from a couple years ago.... and was thrilled when they were visiting family in Whistler over the weekend and called me to photograph their growing family!
AS my business grows... this is fast becoming one of my favorite parts of the job... return clients, and being a part of all the "life" that comes after marriage. xo
i love walking into a clients house and feeling like home...
immediately felt an extra surge of creativity with the art, style, and home of this couple.
the day was stunning... fresh snow and bright sun...
add an amazing dog, some chickens, and an expresso machine and the morning was perfect!
I am pretty sure it is wedding photographer etiquette not to have a 'favorite' wedding.... and really if i am honest i could not pick just one... BUT... if i could pick a few... this one would be on the list...
the setting... the decor, the dresses.... and absolutely the really fun and sweet bride and groom...
remember this one?!
i know... super cute!!
so... i was thrilled to hear they were having a baby...
and we had such a fun time reconnecting to photograph the bump!!
baby is due in a month... and i cannot wait to meet the little bean! xo
we also wanted to duplicate this photo!
this last week i went to my most favorite city to meet this amazing family... we walked commercial street... went for coffee... and captured life. it is my most favorite part of photography... just capturing real life... people loving each other, doing things they love.
mix in a bump... anticipation and excitement about new life... and it's magic.
well... this time we lucked out with the weather!!
we got rained out for this session....
that is what they are calling the babe to be... a nice mixture between ben and margret!! LOL
